In December, Jade Ribbon Liver Care Center came to Chongqing University of Technology again, hope to strengthen their knowledge about liver health. It brought warmth to the cold weather.

Doctor Liu wei, Hepatobiliary Surgery Department of Chongqing Southwest Hospital was invited to give a lecture on “How to Prevent Viral Hepatitis”. Dr. Liu introduced the types of hepatitis, clinical symptoms, ways of transmission and the prevention, etc. In the meantime, he also shared some of the cases he met in clinical practice, help the students to further understand the harm of hepatitis to human health.

The students actively interacted with Doctor Liu and asked a lot of questions during the lecture. Doctor Liu answered the questions and combined with his clinical experience, which made it easier for them to understand. After the lecture, students had a better understanding of liver health and gained a lot.

Besides, this event set up the“Jade Ribbon Student Grant”, intended to subsidize poor students, hoping to pass on love and warmth.
