On March 25th 2015, the National Development and Reform Commission officially approved the first national-local joint research center for lyophilized preparations to set up at YaoPharma Chongqing.

The joint research center is set up based on YaoPharma’s specialty and strong capability with lyophilization technology, in the hope of tackling the bottlenecks of key lyophilization technologies. The center will focus on lyophilized preparation related issues, try to establish platforms for lyophilization engineering research, and carry out researches for key and common technology, the development of new lyophilized preparations, APIs and excipients. YaoPharma hopes to make breakthroughs in key technologies such as formulation development, raw material quality control and new dosage form development, satisfying the demanding needs of industry innovation and regional economic development.
