On Oct 14, Jade Ribbon Liver Care Center (non-profit organization solely founded by Yaopharma) held its first event at Chongqing University of Technology. Chairman of Yaopharma, leaders from Chongqing University of Technology and more than 250 students attended this event.

Professor Yuan Geping, Director of the Institute of viral hepatitis of Chongqing Medical University, Chief Physician of editorial Dept., Chinese Journal of Hepatology, and executive director of Chinese microcirculation Society were invited to give a lecture on “Prevention of Viral Hepatitis”. Professor Yuan introduced viral hepatitis in the aspects of what is viral hepatitis, the source of viral hepatitis infection, transmitting of viral hepatitis and prevention of viral hepatitis. After the lecture, the students asked many questions about liver health and Professor Yuan answered the questions one by one with great patience.

The Jade Ribbon Campaign was initiated by Stanford University Asian Liver Center, making efforts to prevent liver diseases. As a leading corporation in the hepatoprotection field, YaoPharma always believes it’s our social responsibility to pass on the concept of liver health. At the beginning of this year, Yaopharma initiated the public welfare activity for liver care and participated in Jade Ribbon Campaign. In the future, we will go to campuses, provide to young people the knowledge of liver diseases prevention and care measures; go to communities, provide mental and material help for liver disease patients; go to hospitals, participate in the prevention of mother-to-child transmission and reduce HBV newborns, thereby reducing the total number of patients with liver diseases.
