Along with the increasing awareness of environmental protection, more focus is put on social supervision. Today, YaoPharma, one of the pharmaceutical manufacturers from Liangjiang New Area, organized an Enterprise Open Day with the theme of "harmonious neighborhood, embracing our health". This is the first time the pharmaceutical industry in Chongqing to organize an Enterprise Open Day.

27 representatives from neighboring companies and streets attended the event. The company leaders and experts had a face-to-face communication with them regarding the hot topics people concern about the most, such as safety, environmental protection and product quality, etc.

It is know that from the procurement of equipment to the setting of process parameters, YaoPharma considers product quality and environmental friendliness as the top priority. The cleaner energy natural gas is used. And a series of measures are taken to minimize carbon emission. By recycling of industrial waste water, zero discharge of domestic water and production wastewater is achieved. The raining water collection and utilization system guarantees the quality of water collected through multiple steps of pretreatment.

YaoPharma’s large international & industrialization base (phase I) with a total investment of 1 billion RMB started operation in Shuitu Park of Liangjiang New Area. After fully constructed, it will be an international standard manufacturing facility for pharmaceutical export and contract manufacturing. It consists of manufacturing plants for finished dosage forms, CMO base and joint ventures, etc. The sewage and waste water treatment station has been put into use. Waste water from production and residential use are treated separately for recycling. The daily waste water discharge volume can be reduced from 900 tons / day to 50 tons / day. YaoPharma made a positive exploration on the green recycling economic development model, and actively integrated into the strategic plan of Liangjiang New Area to build an Inland Ecological Demonstration Zone.
